Making DUPR History

Pickle & Chill has made history as the first official DUPR Assessment Center in Ohio and the Midwest! This is a huge milestone for the facility and for the pickleball community, as it provides players with a structured and official way to establish their DUPR ratings through guided assessments and competitive play.

As a certified PPR and DUPR coach, I’m incredibly excited and proud to be a part of this development. Having an official DUPR Assessment Center at Pickle & Chill means players of all levels will have access to fair and accurate ratings that reflect their true skill. This is a game-changer for those looking to improve, compete, and measure their progress in a standardized way.

For those unfamiliar with DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), it is the most accurate global rating system in pickleball, allowing players to compare skill levels across all formats of play. Now, with Pickle & Chill leading the way as an Assessment Center, players can receive verified ratings, which will be crucial for tournament play, league placement, and personal development.

In my coaching, I’ve always emphasized the importance of tracking progress and setting measurable goals. With this new certification, I can now help players earn their DUPR ratings through official rating sessions and guided assessments.
